The South Africa v. Mexico took place at the famous Santa Claus (International) Bar for us! Annika and I found ourselves running as the game was playing in every tv in the street. When we made it to our favorite place in International Zone we found the place packed, and the rest of our group on the group.
Let me tell ya, cheering for the Mexico team in a bar full of South Africans... not such a good idea. Well, they did give me weird glances when I jumped up and down at the Mexico goal haha, but hey we were all friends at the end.When the game ended the whole bar, which consisted of so many nationalities that were all intensily watching the game sitting down, became a big party. I was playing fussball with other people.. taking pictures with the South Africans.. dancing to the music. It was a great time.
I am so excited for the rest of the World Cup games! (Ghana justscored!)
